So i am getting married. WHOA!! It;s a crazy and scary and hopeful and wonderful and just amazing thing...and I am so glad it's going to be with him...
"Love means to commit oneself without guarantee, to give oneself completely in the hope that our love will produce love in the loved person. Love is an act of faith, and whoever is of little faith is also of little love."
I will make sure to have all the faith possible....and show my husband and eternity of love.
God bless.

stolen.
So we wake up today and my b/f finds that somebody has stolen his tomtom. Seeing as though that is his means of work...since he is a delivery driver, he couldnt work today, causing him to lose out on his pay for the day, plus he needs to buy a new tomtom asap...how shitty can a day get. Some people just dont have a conscious.....unknowing that you could cause someone a great loss just to make some pounds/dollars by nicking someones property. So i'm pissed, he's definitely pissed....and its just a crap day....hopefully some good will come of this. Gotta always hope for the best.

Wonderwall.
I dont know why I just dont have anything to write...maybe i like just showing my life thru pictures. But i have been experiencing tons while here in london. I had a museum day..which was amazing. The history is just awe-inspiring...Go to my facebook to check out the pix... Walking has become second nature to me here...I am actually gonna miss it when i leave. I do feel homesick tho. i'm excited to see if I finally get to smell how my house smells like. You know how every house has a smell but you cant smell it yourself....i'm dying to be able to smell my house smell, thats gonna be a TREAT! I totally need to catch up with the cockney rhyming phrases thing so here we go.
Going up the apple and pears. (stairs)
givin' it the bread and marge. (givin' it large, acting hard)
having a can of fanta. (banter, having a laugh)
I'm not in the mood to write, so this is all your getting for today.
peace, love and tea,
Kim

Country Heart
lets face it, i am a city girl. But lately I have had this sudden urge to have a farm, with piglets and bunnies and horses and sheep. It all seems so simple and peaceful..I met this Texan guy while i was in the countryside and he had this ginormous horse with like acres of land...and all sorts of animals, and he was so mellow and relaxed....I mean it is kinda scary having your neighbor like 10 minutes away, but still i could only imagine how nice it could be. I would wake up and feed the animals that would have dope names like....Magneto and Chocolate rain, and skip about singing songs about nature and the animals would follow me around and bathe me with sponges in an outhouse, yea....that would be great. I think I just want to be Cinderella, lucky bitch. I would just trade the rat friends with bunny ones. lol. Oh me...
Well other then spending time up in the hills, I haven't done anything way exciting. EXCEPT FOR THIS WEEKEND!!!!! OHHHH YEEEESSSS! We are traveling to North Devon on Friday. OMG OMG OMG, I'm like shaking as i type. Finally the time has arrived for the Goldcoast Ocean Festival! Where I get to see Jason mraz perform once again. We are camping out with a bunch of surfers....and I finally get to see a beach! UGH! I'm so excited. I think I'm going to make a big ass sign saying. '"Travelled from Miami to see you again!" and he will whisk me on stage and we will sing Lucky together. OH PLEASE LET THAT HAPPEN! and he will kiss me on the lips and josh wont get mad...lol...yea i have had reoccurring dreams of that happening. Let us pray. So i can't wait to write about my event there. I will make sure to squeeze in every detail of our road trip. Okay that's that for now. peace, love, tea and crumpets my friends.

The Shepherd Family Reunion
English people know how to get down!! As i saw with my own eyes last night at joshs family party. I had so much fun, and met tons of people. My ego got a major boost because everyone thought I was a super model, and they took the mick outta josh b/c all his uncles were like HOW ThE HELL DID YOU SCORE THAT ONE?!! lol. yay! I was surprised to hear the selection of music seeing as tho there was so many older people, and just a handful of youngins', but they still played "shorty got them apple bottome jeans, boots with the fuuuuurs!!!" it was so funy. There was this little kid there named jack who was super cute and the life of the party. he was being paid to dance it was so cute. I swear he was doing the sexy dance...and he was only eight. I danced tooti frutti with him which was fun. He was teaching me dance moves. LOL. Then I felt like Ross from friends in the episode where he was at a wedding and he danced with a little kid and all of the other kids wanted a dance with him, b/c as soon as i was done dancing with one kid, another child would be like"may i dance with you as well?" And I cant say no to that little accent. Joshs aunts and his cousin Victoria are superb, and one of them named Claire reminds me of how I will be when i'm older. Shes so funny and lively i loved it. It was altogether a wonderful time. Im sure to have lots more friends on facebook....heehee. :)

2nd Day.
Okey dokey. So this is life first/second day combined. Since josh is a courier we deliver all about town. Some of his deliveries are to music/tv studios which is awesome. Our first delivery of the day was to a studio in Acton where they were filming a cool music video and Franz Ferdinand was rehearsing for a show. SUPER DUPAH COOL! We didn't get to meet F.F. but nonetheless very cool. Another cool delivery was to the Chelsea football ground. It's like getting a free visitors pass to see the best sites around town. I can't wait to put some of the pix up. So we drove about till around 7:30 pm. and went home and had delicious fish and chips. MMMMMMM. so good. So far the food has been really delicious. I've eaten BBQ, fish and chips, and even Sunday roast which is beautiful. OMG so delicious. And the portions here + walking is going to be the best weightloss program for me ever. yay for a skinnier and healthier kim. Hmmm what else?? Oh yea I met some of his friends. They are all a great bunch and they love me which makes me feel super special. My accent to them is like the best, weird i know, but they seem to love it. We went out to a club called Freddys, which was alright, nothing like Miami, but they have a wider variety of music. They play some great old school jams. i think* minus the deejays annoying voices* that they have better radio stations then we do. Except they are missing the salsa stations. :(. good thing josh loves spanish music and he has a pretty good mix of some spanish sounds. yay for my cool british boyfriend who is more spanish than i am. heehee. When we were at Freddy's i had like 4 pints of Stella, and everyone was amazed the Miami girl drinks pints. LOL, even tho all of us do. *WINK WINK PINO* I miss you girls so much! I always see things that remind me of each of you. josh is always pointing out Ziggys left and right. Giselle you would love the fashion in london, and ceci the sweets here are the best. Josh has an endless supply of freakin chocolate. lol. Okay so thats that for now. keep in tune for more to come....

First Day.
WHEW! finally got the Internet to work up in this piece...YAY! Ok so many stories. The plane ride wasn't so bad at all. Very comfortable and quick. I watched 3 movies coming up here. Benjamin Button was amazing, Bolt was super cute and Bride Wars (yep all B's) was alright.meh. That killed time enough. I couldn't sleep on the plane at all and when I finally landed and got sorted out at Josh's' house, I seriously could NOT go to sleep AT ALL! I literally watched time just tick away slowly....read an entire magazine, heard the birds chirps and my boyfriend breathe...till it was time to wake up around 5:30 am. I had never been NOT able to sleep in my life, jet lag is the worst feeling ever. It sorted out the next night though as I stayed awake for 24 hours. My first real day here i took in the country side and just the country in itself. Riding on the wrong side of the road in extremely tight roads is pretty exhilarating. I kept trying to get into the passenger side always forgetting it was the drivers side. Ive gotten pretty used to it now tho.
So since my b/f is a courier, (which might i add is the best job for a b/f to have when your a tourist in another country) we deliver all around London. I see everything. EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY! All the back roads, the simple architecture, the good and bad of London. It's almost inspirational. I see the things no tourist really gets to see. Especially the best shops around the tiny towns in London. The history here is bad ass. Josh lives nearby one of the oldest areas in the country. Winston Churchill's school is like 5 min. away and the place where the first ever car accident occurred. COOL HUH! :) Okay so I'm gonna start another post so that i feel like I've been updating this like i should have. :) CHEERS!
Cockney phrase of the day: Gonna go to the rub-a-dub and have a coupla Nelson Mandela's.
* I am going to the pub and I'm going to drink some delicious pints of Stella.*

French.
I've come to the conclusion that the language is ridiculously beautiful after watching a series of foreign films including Amelie and Love me if you dare. Even without the subtitles I would've easily understood the movies...and just gaze in awe at the beauty which is french films. AH-mazing. The cuts are exquisite like thinly sliced bread buttered to perfection, and the timing is exceptional. Watching those films made me fall in love with film in it's entirety. And made me fall in love with romance again. I could feel my heart just ache for romance that makes me swoon like a swooning swoonerson. I am a cheese ball, hear me roar. I want to play those movies to loved ones and be like here motherlover...BE LIKE THIS! UGH! Love is a dangerous and curious thing....but we need it like water. Real love. Old people making-out and holding each other love. Love....L'Amour... Fuck, where's the tissues, my "allergies" are acting up..*ahem*. Moving forward I have a single objective that needs to be conquered when I go to France. I want to ride a merry-go-round. Yes, a merry-go-round. I still find the joy of the simplicity of riding on a fake, glorious looking horse/ostrich/hippo/whatever animal may be in it and just spinning round and round; where as not to make me sick, but still achieving a thrilling feel in the little person fun zone in my brain. I soon hope to post a note with a single picture labeled Kimberly meets merry-go-round. 10 more days and counting. Au revoir!

Mr,A-Z we shall meet again.

I am so damn excited. Like WHOA, excited. I am beyond excited about being able to see Jason Mraz in the UK, not only that see him in a FESTIVAL! More of a chance for a meet and greet...*eeeeeee* the inner girlie girlie girl in me is fainting as we speak at the thought. I cannot wait to roadtrip to North Devon, and take in the beauty of the UK, and take pictures that can be used as home decor. I can't wait to write about those days events. I just can't wait.
MotherLover.
It's very funny because I totally say that all the time, and motherbear. But to see Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg come out and make the new digital short:Motherlover, just tops the banana pops. I enjoyed Justin on SNL very much so once again. He melts my socks. So TEN MORE DAYS AND COUNTING till my rocket blast off...are you as excited as I?Who am I speaking to?? Anywho....have a lovely Mother's Day and celebrate it well. I leave you with this cool picture of my mom playing beerpong. Goodbye.

Mi Primer blog/vlog
hola! I am a miami girl. I have always had this passion for traveling, and seeking something new and different for my life, and I have finally found the chance to. I am on my way to the UK! BLOODY HELL! FISH AND CHIPS! EEL SAUCE! SNOGGING! SHIT WEATHER! My newest adventure. I cannot wait. So I am starting this blog for all my friends to keep up with me and my awesome adventures in the UK, whether good or bad, I will keep this updated very often so you guys never miss a beat. Hopefully I don't get into alot of Barney (which means trouble, one of many cockney rhyming phrases;Barney Rubble rhymes with trouble take out the Rubble part BAM! cockney rhyme). I shall also do my cockney rhyming phrase of the week, that sounds like a clever idea. So its May 7th and I officially have 18 days to go. *exited*
